What are Microgreens?
Microgreens are baby edible plants which are within the first few weeks of their growth. With both excellent nutrition and amazing flavor, we think they are pretty awesome.
Because of their vibrant colors, interesting textures, and bold flavors, microgreens have become increasingly popular with both chefs and home-users alike. They are commonly used as garnish to make any dish look and taste gourmet. Try them on salads, sandwiches/wraps, soups, or any culinary creation.

Up to 40x the Nutrient Density!
A study suggests that microgreens can have many times the nutrient density as that of the mature version of the plant (J. Agric. Food Chem. 2012, 60, 7644−7651). This means that eating just small amounts of microgreens can be extremely beneficial to your health.
As well, A Johns Hopkins study discovered an anti-cancer phytonutrient (plant-nutrient) in broccoli, sulforaphane, which was found in much higher concentrations in the young sprouted plant (Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 1992 Mar 15;89(6):2399-403).
There are likely thousands of other, yet-undiscovered phytonutrients beneficial to our health in microgreens.
